In an interview, Sir Bobeft Horrie, Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1921-22, said that he was going to Burria as chairman of the National Smelting Company, which recently bought considerable shares in the Burma Corporation, controlling great deposits of lead, zinc, and silver. His object, he said, was 1 to investigate the possibilities of obtaining zinc concentrates, of which all present supplies come from Broken Hill.
