ABANDONED ON FIRE.
JAPANESE CARGO BOAT. OFF EAST COAST OF CHINA. Sun. PEKING. Dec. 9. A Japanese cargo steamer of 6000 tons has been abandoned on fire near Swafcow. on the east coast of China, 220 miles north-east of Canton. The officers and crew were rescued by another Japanese steamer.
