ALLEGED SMOKE NUISANCE
WELLINGTON POWER STATION

WELLINGTON. Tuesday.
Tho case in which an injunction is sought against the Wellington City Council, together with damages, owing to the alleged smoke nuisance from the new electric light power-house at Evan's Bay, was before the Court to-day. The city solicitor, Mr. O'Sliea, claimed that the council was quite within its rights in doing what had been done, and applied for a non-suit.
Tho magistrate said he would considor tho matter, and the. hearing was adjourned until to morrow.
