UNSEEN WIRES THE CAUSE.
Sun. LONDON, Deo. 7. The Daily Mail says that pigeon societies arc urging the passing of legislation to compel owners of wireless sets to pla-ec corks along the aerials to enablo birds to u' oid them. It has been ascertained that tins of thousands of pigeons are killed or injured through striking unseen wires. Tii. aerials behead many wild birds. It it estimated thai there are 700.000 pk-eor.-k<;epers in Great Britain.
