LADY BADLY INJURED.
ONE LEG AMPUTATED.

While motor-cycling to Wood villa yesterday from Kiritaki, Ray Walker and Winnie Coldstream met with a serious accident. The cycle capsized when rounding a bend. Miss Coldstream, riding pillion, got her right foot caught in the chain. The limb was almost torn away, and had to be amputated subsequently in Dannevirko Hospital.
