NEW SOUTH WALES SHOCK
WALLS OF BUILDINGS CRACKED.

SYDNEY. Nov. 8.
A distinct earth tremor, accompanied by loud rumblings, was felt near Canowindra, in the west of New South Wales. Several britk houses were cracked and utensils were dislodged from shelves. At Cargo, 14 miles away, the hotel walls cracked, and bottles were shaken from the shelves and counter.
