SOUTH SEAS EXHIBITION.
WAIKATO SUPPORT ENLISTED.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Saturday. The support of the Waikato for the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition, to bo held in Dunedin next year, was solicited by three directors of the exhibition, Messrs. A. Barnett, W. Hay ward and C. Todd, who addressed a representative meeting of Hamilton businessmen yesterday. The Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow, presided, and cordially supported the project, saying the Waikato should do its best to send a worthy display of exhibits to Dunedin.
A committee consisting of Messrs. Fow, W. H. Paul, A. J. Sinclair, F. A. Snell, H. H. Clark, W. H. Hume and E. L. Wilson was appointed to take the preliminary steps to enlist the interest of the public in the scheme.
