SOCIAL AT OTAHUHU.
The close of a successful year was celebrated in the Masonic Hall, Otahuhu, on Thursday evening on the occasion of the annual banquet of the St. Andrew's Literary and Social Club. The hall and tables had been charmingly decorated by the ladies, and with the good thiugs provided a most enjoyable evening was spent. A lengthy toast list was submitted. A presentation of a handsome umbrella was made to Miss E. Moffett. who has been for several years hen. pianist. The president, in making the presentation, spoke in terms of praise of the valuable services rendered by. the recipient. Items were contributed.
