The Flora arrived at Lyttelton from Auckland at 4 p.m. on Friday and sailed at 8 p.m. -on Saturday for Dunedin. After an extensive overhaul the Wakatere will resume running to Thames to-day. Sh» is to cleave Auckland at 1 p.m. The Richardson steamer Aupouri is to leave Gisborne to-day for East Coast bays and Auokland. She is duo here about Wednesday. , The Karort is due at Auckland from Greymouth. via Napier. She will berth at the King's Wharf to discharge a part cargo of coal. - The Kakapo sailed for Walpole Island, via Noumea, on Saturday morning to load a cargo of phosphates for Auokland, Wanganui and Lyttelton. The Arahura arrived from East Coast Ports yesterday forenoon, and berthed at the Central Wharf. She is timed to sail for Tokomaru Bay, 'Gisborne and Napier at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Kauri, which arrived from Newcastle on Friday night, was berthed at the Wealem Wharf on Saturday morning to discharge her cargo of timber and coal. The vessel will be laid up at this port for overhaul and survey. THE WAITOMO. A shortage in the crow delayed the Waitomo in port on Friday night. She was despatched on Saturday morning for Wellington to complete discbarge of ber cargo of wheat from Port Lincoln. ATHOLL FROM MONTREAL. With a full cargo from. Sydney (Cape Breton), and Montreal, the Außtralind Steam Shipping Company's steamer Atholl arrived pn Saturday afternoon and berthed at the King's Wharf. The vessel arrived at Sydney from- the Tyne on September 10, and aiter loading a quantity of steel products she left that port on September 12 and reached Montreal on September 15. After filling up with general merchandise at Montreal the Atholl sailed for New Zealand on September 27. Colon was reached on October 11, and •he cleared Balbot. the same night. Fine Weather was experienced until October 29, when boisterous weather with gales from the north-east to north-vest, accompanied by high seas, were encountered for two days. Afterwards fresh to moderate winds and rough seas prevailed until the vessel was near the New Zealand Coast. From Auckland the Atholl goes to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru. Dunedin, and Melbourne to complete discharge. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. Captain W. Stevens is in command and has with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr. J. An .exceptionally fine weather voyage was experienced by the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui, which arrived from London on Friday night and berthed on Saturday morning at the Queen's Wharf. She brought 648 passengers and a quantity of mail for New Zealand, as well as cargo for discharge at .Auckland, Napier, and Dunedin. About 4000 tons will be discharged at this port. The Tainui sailed from Southampton on September 27, and arrived at Colon at 9.45 fe-m. on October 11. Next day she passed through the canal and cleared Balboa at 2.15 g.m. the same day. A call was made at uva/on November 2 to land 600 tons of cargo. This is the first time a direct passenger liner from England has called at Suva, and the passengers enjoyed the visit. The vessel cleared Suva for this port on the morning of November 4. T»e speed averaged from Southampton to Colon was 12 5 knots, from Balboa to Buva 13.6 knots, and from Suva to Auckland 13.5 knots. Included among the passengers were nine of the crew of the sailing ship Birkdale, which was sold for debt in America. The "-en Joined the vessel at Colon, and they are goimr to Australia. Captain W. THE CANADIAN BRITISHER. The Canadian Britisher completed cargo operations on Saturday afternoon and sailed at 5.45 p.m. for New York, Boston, and Halifax. THE ULIMAROA. The Huddart-Parker steamer TJlimaroa sailed from Sydney at 1 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington, where she la due on Wednesday. TOFTJA SAILS AT 11 A.M. TO-DAY. The Union Company'a island steamer Tofua sails at 11 a.m. to-day with passengers, mails and cargo for Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. She is loading at the Central Wharf.

THE MAMARI REPORTED. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mamari, whioh was despatched from Auckland on October 15 for New York, Boston and London, arrived at Panama on Thursday.

LOTTIE BENNETT RENAMED. Formerly owned by Burns, Philp and Coy., Ltd., the four-masted schooner Lottie Bennett, which now flies the French flag, has been renamed the Normandie.

THE RONA.

The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Rona will complete discharge at Chelsea tomorrow or Wednesday, when she will be despatched for Fi)l to load another oar go of raw sugar for this port.

WAIKAWA CALLS AT NIUE, The Union Company's trans-Pacifio steamer Waikawa, now en route from San Francisoo to Napier, will call at Niue Island to pick up a passenger for New Zealand. THE R.M.S. TAHITI. The Royal Mail steamer Tahiti is reported to have, sailed from San Francisco on Wednesday with passengers, maila and cargo for New Zealand and Australia. She is due at Wellington on November 24 and at Sydney on November 29.

THE NAVUA.

The Navua. was to leave Dunedin on Saturday for Auckland, via way ports The Union Company advises that the vessel will be available to load cargo at Auckland about November 17 for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

ANGLO-COLUMBIAN TO LOAD. Mr G. H. Soales. who has just returned to Wellington from England, has fixed the steamer Anglo-Columbian. 8407 tons. Captain WesHmacott, to load wool in New Zealand about the end of next month. The vessel, which has a carrying capacity pf ?.bout 20,000 bales of wool, is now en route rom England to Australia. R.M.S. MAUNGANUI. The Royal Mail steamer Maunganui is due at Wellington about 6 a.m. to-day from Sydney. After taking on board passengers, mails and cargo the vessel will resume her voyage to Rarotonga, Papeete and Honolulu to-morrow aftisrnoon. THE WANAKA. The Wanaka, en route from Southern ports, left Wellington on Friday evening for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. She is expected at this port about to-morxow night or Wednesday morning. The vessel wiP load cement at Portland for Wellington and Lyttelton and will also take cargo for South from this port. THE WINGATUI. The "Wingatui arrived from Southern y.irts on Saturday morning and berthed at the Prince's Wharf. After discharge, the vc-ssel will load for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. She is to sail for those portß at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Manuka sailed from Sydney at 1 p.m. on Friday with passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland. She is due here about mid-day to-morrow and will berth at the Central Wharf. THE COLLIERS. The Kaitangata is to load a cargo of coal at Greymouth to-morrow for Gisborne, lauranga and Auckland in that order. The destinations of the Rakanoa. and the Waipori have been changed and in consequence the Waipori left Auckland on Saturday for Westport and the Rakanpa for Newcastle. The Waipori has been fixed to load at Westport for this port again.

MAKURA DUE AT 11 A.M. TO-DAY. The Royal Mail steamer Makura is due at Auckland at 11 a.m. to-day from Vancouver, Honolulu, and Suva. After . mediinspection in the stream she will berth at the Queen's Wharf to land passengera, mails, and cargo for New Zealand, lne Makura will xesume her voyage to Sydney at 5 p.m. to-morrow. THE MAHENO. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maheno is due at Sydney to-morrow from Wellington. She is scheduled to sail with passengers, mails and cargo on ruesday for Auckland, where she is due on the following Tuesday. RUAHINE LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine sailed from Southnmraon on Thursday with passengers for New Zealand and oargo for disoharge at Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Wellington about December 11. Sir Charles Fergusson, new Governor-General of New Zealand, is a passenger. H.M.S. VERONICA SAILED. H.M.S. Varor tea sailed shortly befors midday on Saturday for Wellington. The vessel has gone Soul a for the crew to undergo their periodical . musketry course at Trentham. It is probable she will return North about December 18, in company with H.M.S. Dunedin, which is on a prolonged visit to Australia.

SCHOONER PIRI SAILED. On her initial voyage under her new owners, the Nobel Explosives Company, the schooner Piri. ex the Tansaroa, sailed from Auokland yesterday with a. cargo of timber for Melbourne. The vessel is running under sail only at present, but later will. be fitted with a 180 horse-power oil engine. Captain Watt is in command of the vessel, whioh carries a crew of elwen.
