MANCHUS LEAVE THE PALACE.

REPUBLIC ENFORCES AGREEMENT Reuter. PEKING. Nov. 6. General Feng Yu-hsiang this morning sent the chief of the military police to the palace at Peking to inform the Manchu chamberlain that the Government wanted to take over the Imperial City in accordance with the agreement entered into between tho Republic and the Manchu House at the time of abdication, but not so far enforced. Meanwhile the palace is guarded, ingress and egress being stopped.

In the afternoon Hsu Sing Tung, who still retains the title of Emperor, accompanied by all the Manchu family, left the Imperial Palace and took up residence at the palace of his father, Prince Chun, ex-regent, situated in the North-western part of tho city.
