CROWD PREVENTS EVICTION
SHERIFF'S MEN ATTACKED.
There wore exciting scenes at Clydebank, near Glasgow, lately, when sheriff officers appeared to evict a widow and her faniilv. Cyclist scouts, ringing bolls and blowing whistles, raised, an alarm throughout the district. Soon a big crowd gathered, and stopped the oflicers as thoy were carrying out the woman's furniture.
