SECOND SATURDAY'S PLAY.
Club cricket competitions will be continued' on the various grounds this afternoon. The senior and second grade matches commenced last Saturday under the auspices of the Auckland Association, will be resumed, while the second series of games in the third and fourth grades will be played. University are in a good position against Eden in the senior inafceh at' Eden Park, .having scored 114 runs for the Ices of four wickeis as against the total of 124 compiled by Eden on the first day- The ParnellPotfsonby game will be resumed at Kin j s College grounds, 3ftiddbemore. Parnell having 166 runs to their credit for seven wickctv. at the close of last Saturday's play. At Devonport, North Shore, who have 157 runs for seven wickets, will continue their innings ,-gainst Grafton. The four* senior matches commenced last Saturday under the Suburban Associa- j tioiv will be continued to-day, and the junior competitions vill be advanced a further stage-
