AUCKLAND FRENCH CLUB.
ELECTION OF COMMITTEE.
The membership of the Auckland French Club has now reached 85, and great interest is taken bv members in its activities. From April to November 15 meetings, preceded by French conversation classes, have been held, and no less than 14 plays, in French, have been rendered. The committee elected for the next season is as follows: —President, Professor P. S. Ardern : vice-presidents. Miss Outhwaite. Mr. VY. J. Napier: secretary, Mr. R. A. de Coek; treasurer. Mr. P. F. Egan ; librarians. Madame Foley and Mr. Brady; members of the committee. Miss Elizabeth Hall, Mile. Üblmann, Miss Guthrie, Mrs, Macredy, Messrs. G. S. Coldhain, A. Thompson. F. Gillet and Fagan ; auditor of accounts. Mr. Clark. The French Consul is, according to the statutes, president of honour. The club will open its • next session in May, 1925.
