GERMANY AND LEAGUE.
QUESTION OF ADMISSION.
ATTITUDE OF BRITAIN.
NO CONDITIONS CONSIDERED.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyriffhi. (Received 7.5 p.m.) Reuter. BERLIN. Oct. 11. It is understood that the British reply to the German memorandum regarding Germany's entry into the Lefigue of Nations intimates that Britain will not object to Germany having a permanent seat on the League's Council. The British Note makes it clear, however, that Germany's application for admission will only be granted if it be unaccompanied by any conditions or reservations. Therefore, the British Government is not able to give any assurance relative to the other questions which Germany raised.
