TWO-PARTY SYSTEM.
OFFICIAL FREN"CH VIEW.
STABLE GOVERNMENT WANTED.
I Times. PA.&IS, Oct. 30. French official opinion inclines to the 'belief that the coming British elections herald an attempt to return to the twoparty By stem, and that the Liberals and Conservatives will unite against Labour. It is recognised that this procedure would mean the doom of tha Labour Party, but that, is regarded here as sooner or later inevitable. What the French would welcome wonlu be a Government, whether bourgeois or Labour, capable of standing on its own feet.
