PLAYERS INDISPOSED.
A COMEDY OF ERRORS.
WRONG POWDERS TAKEN.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.6 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 12. It was reported yesterday that 15 inembors of tho All Blacks' team were suffering from slight ptomaine poisoning. Their trouble, however, proved to be nothing more serious than a mere passing indisposition. The team arrived at Liverpool apparently all well. The attack was first felt by several of the party on Friday morning. A few more became ill in the afternoon. Mr. S. S. Dean, the manager of tho team, was treated with medicine, bat the other victims regarded medical aid as being entirely unnecessary. Several who had complained played yesterday afternoon. The Sunday News describes the All Blacks' indisposition as a coincdv of errors. It says the facts, as related by Porter, are that several of the players felt tho need of a tonio in order to fit themselves for yesterday's match against Cheshire. Some harmless powders were ordered, but tho wrong ones were sent by mistake. These were not poisonous, but their effects were not altogether pleasant..
