BLANDFORD PARK.
GRANDSTAND TO BE ERECTED
An inspection of Blandford Park, Grafton Road, to view the progress that has been made th the preparation of the ground for football, and to decide on the site for the grandstand, was made during the week-end by members of the executive of the Auckland Football Association. It was decided to proceed with the erection of the grandstand to seat 800, Tor the present, parallel to Grafton Road. Fencing around the ground was reported to be well in hand, and it was estimated that the ground would be levelled and ready for the sowing of grass seed within two weeks.
