AVONDALE SPRINTG MEETING.
The sum paid to the Government in taxation in connection with the Avondale Jockey Club's recent Spring Meeting amounted to £8210 4s ] 3d, made up as follows: —Totalisator and .. percentages, £2732 ; 16s 3d/ dividend tax, £4794 14s; stakes, £425; amusement tax, £257 14s; total, £8210 4s 3d.
