BROWNING AT TAHUNA.
YOUTH LOSES HIS LIFE.
Advice was received by the AucklajiS police authorities at 10 o'clock last sighg from the police at Morrinsville that * youth named Douglas France, aged 1?» was drowned in the Piako Rivec*, Tahuna, at about mid-day yesterday* The body was recovered and conveyed to Morrinsville, where an inquest wijl be opened to-day. The youth was formerly at the Takapuna Orphanage, and from papers found on his body it is understood he has a sister, Grace Franca* residing in Auckland. The address ol the sister furnished to the police was Rutland Road, Epsom, but there is jjaf road of that name in- the> ' j
