BANGERS' LUCKY ESCAPE.
WHEEL FLIES OFF CAR.
Two vaudeville dancers, Miss Hazel Harris and Mr. Westley Pierce were returning from a motor trip in Sydney recently when tho wheal of the car "Mr. Pierce was driving worked off and flew into the air. The car skidded along the road for over 300 ft., and finally buried its axle in the earth. Mr. John Fuller, who was driving his car behind Mr. Pierce's, stated that he has never seen such an amazing accident. He gave up all hope of ever seeing the dancers on the stagp again when the wheel came off.
