In the presence of a very large assembly at the Sarjeant Gallery, the Gov-ernor-General, Lord Jdlieoe, handed over to the city to-day the six magnificent pictures presented to the gallery by Lord Leverhulme,
Tho pictures are "Curiosity," Von Bless; "Healthy Appetite," Sadler; "A Greek Water-Carrier in Egypt," Sir William Richmond; "Thisbo," Burne-Jones; "The Toast is Britain." Fred Roe; "The' Fountain of Youth," Burne-Jones. The collection has evoked enthusiastic praise from art critics.
