The Rugby representative match for tho Birch Cup, Coromandel County votkus Thames, was played on Saturday, in tho presence of a good attendance of spectators, and was won by the Thames team by 81 points to 0. Tries were scored by Bax (2) Buchanan (2). R. Smith (2). Lomaa, ivetlv and Lockett, one each. Two of tho t r iea 'wore converted by R. Smith. High School A 9, defeated Physical Training 5; and the Central Public School defeated tha South School.
HAMILTON DEFEATED.

Hamilton B against Waipa,. played here yesterday, resulted in a win for Waipa by ~G points to 3. At half-time Waipa were b and Hconilton 8, but on the resumption of pJay Wnipa took charge.. ,
