WAIHI-TAURANGA LINE.
CONTRACTORS MATERIAL.
ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND.
A large quantity of material for construction work in connection, with the Waihi-Tauranga section of the east coast railway was discharged at Auckland last week by the steamers Suffolk and Corinthic. Included in the machinery for the work are two electric locomotives for the use of the contractors, Sir William Armstrong, ' Whitworth and Company. A further quantity of material arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Westmoreland. The . machinery, etc., is all being transhipped to'Tauranga by the Northern Company's 'vessels.
