SUPPORT BY TRAVELLERS.
LONDON CONFERENCE PLEDGE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Recdi. 6.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 26. At the Corameroial Travellers' Conference Mr. Coysh, secretary of the British Association, complained that the taxation of British travellers in the Dominions hindered trade, and should be removed. Mr. J. Davies (Australia) initiated a discussion on Empire trade. Mr. Manton (New Zealand) nrged the adaption of a slogan, " Trade witliin the Empire. Mr. Perry (Canada) said that ho believed Canada's preference would shortly be abolished if Britain were not responsive.
The conference adopted a resolution pledging it's' support for trade within the Empire.
