At the meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board, the Finance Committee reported that the prices ruling for milk supplies four centres were as follow:— . \ b ■ . : Auckland HospitaL—ll£d per gallon, fixed price for one year from November 1, 1823, to October 31, 1924. Board has not insisted on testing herds for tuberculosis.' ' i i, Christchurch Hospital.—ls Id per gallon, two deliveries per day. Tenderer must be prepared to have his herd examined and passed as free from tuberculosis by an officer of the Agricultural Department at such time or times a3 required.
ChHstchurch Sanatorium.-—Price averages la 2{fd per gallon. Contractor is required to have hia herd tested by the tuberculin tesf> at ituch time or times as may be deemed necessary. Dunedin Hospital.—ls Id per gallon, less 2y per cent, for one year expiring on September 30, 1924. Prior to acceptance of tender the successful tenderer's supplying herd will require to be eaamined and be free from tuberculosis. Wellington HospitaL—Present price for winter months only Is llgd per gallon for fresh miik from special farm where herd is tested- for tuberculin; Is 10jJ*l for pasteurised—last year the prices were Is 4d and Is 3d per gallon respectively.
