The Federal Prime Minister, Mr. S. M. Bruce, has issued a denial of the pubfished statement that u.e Cabinet iii considering plans for building a floating dock At Cockatoo Island.

Bruce, stated at the conference with the State Ministers that the Federal Government would not entertain the idea of dealing with a number cf separate wheat pools, even if it were disposed to recognise any pools at all. The Government would only consider a Federal proposal.
