The Daily Telegraph understands that the sub-committee of the Cabinet dealing with wireless is discussing with the Marconi Company the question of erecting a beam station in England to communicate with a similar station in Australia. It is believed that the plan un3er negotiation proposes that the Marconi Company should erect the station, which the Government will take over subsequently if its operation proves successful.
