EDUCATION DISTRICT.
SUBDIVISION SUGGESTED.
[by telegraph.—own 1 correspondent, MORRINS VTLLE, Wednesday.
A suggestion to divide the Aucklax d Education Board's area was put forward, in a letter from the Matangi School Committee to the committee of the Morrinsville school.
The letter stated that in the interests of education the time had arrived whsn the district should be divided, and a board formed to meet the growing needs of the lower end, with headquarters at Hamilton. Consideration of the matter was deferred until more information available. It was stated that several committees had decided not to support the proposal, it being considered that reasonable v treatment had been received by the present board. ,
