The already long list of New Zealand horses in New South "Wales is to be increased by the transportation of Killoora. the risiutr three-year-old Bon of Kilfcroney— Putec, to Sydney. According to advices to hand from Wellington, Killocra will be shipped by the steamer Maheno, leaving Wellington to-morrow. Killocra. who is owned by Mr. A. McDonald, of Maaterton, proved himself one of the best two-Year-olds of the season, and he is credited with having furnished in a marked degree. The colt is engaged in the Australian Jockey Club's Derby. WAIPAPAKAUEI CLUB. STEADY PROGRESS. The report and balance-sheet to be presented at the annual meeting of the Waipapakauri Kacing Club, to be held on Wednesday next, shows that that body has made very satisfactory The report shows that the membership has increased to 138, and an effort is to bo made to increaso the same to double Chat figure. The profit for the year amounted to £139 17s 6d, which is regarded as very satisfactory. The Waipapakauri Racing Club is hopeful of obtaining a totalisator permit, and, should the efforts being made in that respect prove successiul, the club's position will be greatly strengthened.
