ENGINEDRIVER INJURED.
BALLAST PIT ACCIDENT.
fBY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WAIROA (H. 8.), Wednesday. A married man named Frank Frost, employed as an enginedriver at the Public Works Department's ballast pit on Tahaenui siding, on the Waikokopu railway, was picked up late yesterday afternoon, unconscious and badly injured about the thighs. Ho was removed to the hospital. It is surmised that he was caught ill a hauling winch operating for the return of an empty drag scroop.
