QUEENSLAND SUGAR CROP.; ARRANGEMENTS FOR SEASON. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 10.5 p.m.) BRISBANE. July 15 The Premier, Mr. E. G. Theodore, announces that the State Government has arranged with the refining companies to deal with the whole of the 1924 sugar crop. WEST AUSTRALIAN DEFICIT. PEETH. July 16. The State revenue returns show that the year closed with a deficit-of £229,000. BROADCASTING REGULATIONS. SYDNEY. July 15. The new broadcasting regulations have been generally favourably received by wireless traders. They express satisfaction that the matter has been finally settled. They claim that the new regulations will enable the public to take up wireless, confident of obtaining the maximum benefits without restriction, and at a minimum of cost.
