CANTERBURY MARKETS. r BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] CHBISTCHURCH, Tuesday. There is practically nothing iaew to report on week-end review except that the potato position is weaker. A report was current to-day that the Koromiko, due to arrive later in the month from Victoria, was bringing 1000 tons. This vrould mean on top of the Wairuna's consignment and further impending shipments from Australia a sufficiency of supplies for Auckland until the first week in August, and to that extent the local demand 13 affected. Values at present are £6 10s f.0.b., s.i., or £4 5s .on trucks. It is reported that Tasmaman potatoes have been offered at a. lower price than last week. ''.■••'■'.'. . : Millers report" that there is no more locally-grown wheat to be secured, and the recnt importations were very welcome. There is no change to report m other branches of produce.
