Bayner will have four good youngsters to run for him in the coming season, as. in addition to Thv 'Thorn, he has Vaudeville (by Limond ou o of Farce), a filly by Absurd out of Bronzy anil a filly by Limond out of Intrigue, in work. From present appearances the lasv named will be the most forward early i», the new season. She is going along particu larly well just now. The Absurd—Xosx. Queen colt is a very solid-looking customei arid Bayner does not intend to hurry him is. Voca, which Mr. E. J. Eurchell has in work is a nice cut of a youngster, and from the way she is stepping out in her preliminan work on the track suggests that she w'O prove very speedy. This morning the nils had her-first real spin, when she ran two furlongs, being accompanied by Anklet (by ;'/imcind—lntrigue) and Adavale (by Absura— Bronze). Anklet had a bit the worst of the jump-oft. but finished in front on the rails, with the Elvsian filly closo up. the time registered being 25 4-ss. . , . . Mr. H. L. Russell has Siaosi and Civility in work again. Tnev both look well after their spell, and' have hardened up as the result of having been given a fair tmount of Toad work preliminary to making'their reappearance on the tracks. Mr. Russell is also training a rising three-year-old filly by Elyslan out of Bradimante. She io very much like Civility in appearance, and if she turns out as good as the latter she will do. Motley has muscled up Well since Seine put into work, and is going along as well as could be wished. W. Rayner should have the Absurd filly in excellent form foi the Waszanm Guiaaaa.
