COSTLY "BARRACKING."
FOOTBALL MATCH INCIDENT.
At the Te Aute College and Wanganui Collegiate School football match, at Wanganui last week, a local auctioneer, in order to view the game, perched himself on the bonnet of a friend's motor-car. At the first try for Wanganui,' he was so carried away with enthusiasm that he waved hi 3 arms with delight and put his elbow through the upper portion of the wind screen. When the second score for School was made, the knight of the hammer with another outburst of excitement bumped his elbow back f>gain, and sent it through the lower portion,of the screen. He states that had Wanganui won it would have given him a great deal more pleasure in repaying to his friends' the amount of the damage. "
