ONEHUNGA PRESBYTERIANS
SUNDAY-SCHOOL REOPENING.
Special services were .held yesterday in the Onehunga Presbyterian Church, in celebration of the reopening of the Sunday ■School hall, which has been enlarged and extensively improved. The dedication service was held in the afternoon in the hall itself, when the Rev. C. J. . Tocker delivered an,address on "Building," and offered a dedicatory prayer. The minister of the church, the Rev. D. D. Scott, expressed his pleasure that there were present the only two surviving original members of the church, Mrs. Whyte and the Rev. G. Brown, and conveyed the thanks of the church to Mr. F. W. Beckett for his gift of an illuminated text .to the Sunday School, and also to Miss Barr for an enlarged photograph of her father, the late superintendent. He announced that Mr. J. Park had donated his account for professional services in the beautiful architecture of the hall. Musical items were given by the P.S.S.A, boys, and the Rev. F. R. Jeffreys, superintendent of the home, was also present. The celebration of the reopening will be continued on Wednesday, when a concert will be held in, the hall. ; : ><.
