It is estimated in trades nniott circles that between 100,000 and 150,000 men engaged in the building trades have struck up to the present. The position in London is stated to be more serions than anywhere else. It is understood thai some employers have conceded the operatives' minimum demands of a halfpenny | an hour increase in pay and a guaranteed | week.
