SIZE OF AEROPLANES.
GERMANY'S RESTRICTIONS
COMPLICATIONS FEARED.
A. and N.Z.. LONDON. July 7. A denial from Germany of a statement that she was withdrawing a license permitting Britain's large aircraft to land in Germany after July 1, proves to be inaccurate, v It disclosed that none of the British Imperial Airways' new fleet of super-air-liners have been flown via Germany spce Tuesday. Under the German ban they have been forced to substitute one small four-passenger aeroplane which conforms with the restrictions imposed on Germany by the Versailles Treaty. Serious international complications have resulted from Britain's unavailing efforts to secure the lifting of the ban. France r is greatly alarmed and fears that Britain in an endeavour to safeguard her flying industry will insist on a modification of the Versailles Treaty favourable to Germany.. ■ ,•
