The annual meeting of the Dominion Road Bowling Club was held on Saturday ovening.. Mr, L. E. Lambert presiding over an attendance of about GO. ' The report submitted to ithe annual meet-, ing of the Waitemata Bowling Club emphasised the satisfactory financial position, receipts having been £206, and expenditure j£ls9. Besides. the bank credit of £47, there were subscriptions outstanding amounting to £23. The: sum of £29 had been received from' the ladies, of , the , Croquet Club, the proceeds of all-day croquet .tournaments. The club matches had resulted:—Championship, S. E. McGill; • fours. .J. A. Adams, W. U. Lilburn, G. T. Oxley. and G. H. Lyon, Tho Bartlett .Buckles were - retained by W. McKinstrie and J.- Potter, after five games."
