The annual meeting of the Dominion Road Bowling Club was held on Saturday ovening.. Mr, L. E. Lambert presiding over an attendance of about GO. The club competitions during the season resulted:—Club championship, .B.AUsopp; runner-up, W. D. Kelly, t Percentage fours, S. Betts, C. Bathgate, H. Cliffs, J. Wakerley; runners-up, J. E. Guthrie.' ■ • , : It Was decided that the club enter for the inter-club pennant competition, and that the. delegates be instructed- to support an increase in the number : of teams -taking part in this competition. , THE WAITEMATA CLUB. ..,:".. ' The report submitted to ithe annual meet-, ing of the Waitemata Bowling Club emphasised the satisfactory financial position, receipts having been £206, and expenditure j£ls9. Besides. the bank credit of £47, there were subscriptions outstanding amounting to £23. The: sum of £29 had been received from' the ladies, of , the , Croquet Club, the proceeds of all-day croquet .tournaments. The club matches had resulted:—Championship, S. E. McGill; • fours. .J. A. Adams, W. U. Lilburn, G. T. Oxley. and G. H. Lyon, Tho Bartlett .Buckles were - retained by W. McKinstrie and J.- Potter, after five games." The ■ pairs competition could not be completed on account of the inclemency of the weather, ,which also- preven'ed participation in -several inter-club and pennant matches.- The greens had been thoroughly .top-dressed . H. ; Chapman, presiding. ; The meeting decided to enter again for the Lembert Cup comeptition, and the, majority of ' members < expressed the opinion that the aggregate point system should be introduced by the centre. ,:..-../. . ,■ , The annual report stated that in tournament play,; Professor. Maxwell Walker won the champion of champions competition of the Auckland Centre, .going through without a loss, and, Messrs: R. Stevenson, E. Far-'* row, ,7. Comes. and A. J. Letham (skip),' won the Tauranga tournament. J. Rolfe, W. Jamieson. F. Moore, and D. Mclnnes won .the,' percentage fours, and Professor Maxwell Walker won the champion singles, with A.
