SIREN FIRE ALARM. [BY TELEGRAPH.— '.".-.' CORRESPONDENT.] , . TE AROHA, Sunday. An effort is being made to reorganise the Te Aroha Boxing Association. The first meet of the Waikato Hunt in Te Aroha will be held on Wednesday. At last week's meeting of the Te Aroha Fire Board it was decided to . instal,.; at a cost of £150, ; a two-horse-power single-phase motor siren fire alarm to replace the present fire-bell, and to meet the rapidly-growing needs of the borough. The official opening of the new hall at Waitoa took place on Wednesday evening, the ceremony being performed by Mr. H. Poland. M.P. . A recommendation from the Fire Underwriters' Association that ; the Fire; Board should make inquiries into the cause of electrical fires was unanimously agreed to.
