QUEEN STREET MISHAP.
MAN STRUCK BY TRAMCAR*
HEAD INJURIES SUSTAINED*
A man named Robert Roth wad knocked down at 5.50 p.m. on Saturday by a tramcar at the safety zone at the corner of Queen Street and Wyndham Street. A police constable who was summoned found him lying unconscious on the zone, with his head covered with blood. Hi was at once Inked to the police station where he was attended to by Dr. Tewslev, who ordered his removal to the hospital. Last evening he was reported to be making satisfactory, progress. Although the constabln whoi first attended to the man made inquiries from bystanders, he was not able, to get tie number of the tramcar that struck: him. • It is understood tnat the injured man resides near, the Grey .
