OLYMPIC TEAM INCIDENT.
(( ' Tommy Adrian, the trainer of " Boy " Charlton, the <Australian champion swimmer, a member of the Australian Olympic team, jumped overboard from ths steamer Ormonde at sea on May 23, but was saved by skilful seamanship. There was some discussion when the team was being selected as to' whether Adrian should accompany Charlton. The swimmer's father said that he would not allow his son to go unless Adrian accompanied him, and Charlton backed up this decision. Eventually, however, Charlton decided to go, and money was raised bv public subscription in Sydney to semi Adrian with him.
