MUD IN SYMONDS STREET. Pedestrians coming to business during the wet and boisterous weather have been struck by the almost entire . absence of mud in Symonds Street. Much curiosity, however, has been aroused over a large deposit of mud on view in one of the local shop windows. Inquiries as (to the reason for this most unusual spectacle led to the discovery that it was only the dust and grease carried about by 50 people. Hundreds of 'Auckland's citizens have benefited both in health and pocket by having this invisible germ-laden matter removed from their garments. The N.Z.
