TEST TRIAL MATCH. - ' (Received 5.5 p.m. Reuter LONDON, May 28. A test trial match, . England v. the rest of England, has been commenced: *t Nottingham. Tho rest of England scored "295 run« (Holmes 86, Chapman 64, not out), England" had mado 14 for no wickets when stumps wore drawn. In the county matches, Yorkshire made 102 against Middlesex. The ldtler have no wickets down for 65. Notts scored 188 against Essex, who liavo lost two wickets for 133 ; (Nicholas 59, Freeman 50, not out). Lancashire, playing against Kent; made 183 (Tyldeslev 57). Kent lost one wicket for 34. Somerset scored 249 against Cambridge University. Cambridge . has scored 51 for the loss of five wickets.
