Savill and Albion steamer Mania, which sailed from London on April--80 for Auckland and Lytteiton, made good, time crossing the Atlantic and reached Colon on May 16. The vessel has about 6000 tons of cargo to discharge at this port. Included in the cargo is a Quantity of merchandise from the damaged steamer Matatua. The Mahia is due, at Auckland about June 5. .

THE PORT BOWEN. Heather. Roberton. Ltd., have received advice that the Port Bowen has been further delayed on the East Coast and will not reach Auckland before Thursday. She will load about 5000 crates of cheese at this port es well as general cargo and probably butter. From Auckland the vessel will proceed to Wellington, where she will complete loading for London. . KAROEI ARRIVED. The Karori arrived from Westport yesterday morning and berthed alongside 'H.M.A.S. Adelaide, which she supplied with bunker coal. In '-he afternoon the Karori berthed at- the Queen's Wharf, where _ she took aboard water and stores before sailing for Pago Pago at an early hour this morning. The vessel made a prolonged trip from Westport, having been delayed by the recent storm. She was hove to for 36 hours off the coast. Heavy seas broke on board and encashed in the cook's cabin and vegetable lecker. on the port side of the bridge deck. The railings of the forecastle head were also broken. Repairs were effected before the vessel left Auckland.

ARAHI7RA PUTS BACK TO NAPIER. , Th Arahura, which was ordered on to Auckland after being delayed off Gisborno by the storm on Saturday, ran short of foal and put back to Napier to replenish her bunkers. She was to leave Napier at S. p.m. yesterday for Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland, and is expected here to-morrow morning. Owing to the delay her departure from Auckland to East Coast ports has been postponed until 6 p.m.. tomorrow. Her belated departure from Auckland will prevent her making - the r usual lecond trip between Gisborne and Napier.

The Kawau will take the Matakana trip on Wednesdays. The Ngatiawa, which sailed for Hokianga yesterday afternoon, is due back at Onehunga on Thursday. She is to sail at 3 p.m. the same day for Raglan and Kawhia. Her next trip to Hokianga will be from Onehunga on May 89. The company hopes to despatch the Tuhoi for Whakatane this afternoon. /
