CHOOSING EARRINGS.
; Earrings give a sparkle and brightness, f to any face, if thev are chosen carefully. : Long earrings of the heavy antique type : can only be worn successfully by the tall brunette with rather a long neck. A short neck demands " stud" earrings. The girl with a round face can improve her appearance very much by wearing long, narrow earrings, but: again, the neck must not be short. Onyx is the most favoured stone ,at present, and it is usually set in platinum, surrounded by brilliants or diamonds. And just one hint by the way.' if you're going to show your ears to advantage, , bathe them every day with a little rosewater, to which has been added a few drops of benzoin, pinch the lobes gently i if they are too pale, or dust them 7 with a little powder if they are too red.
