EXHIBITION OF WATER-COLOUR PICTURES. There is at present on view at the rooms of Smith and Halcombe, Auctioneers, 5, Customs Street, a verv beautiful collection of Water-Colour Paintings that has been specially got together for Auckland by a well-known art connoisseur during a recent visit to Europe. It is the sixth collection he has brought to Auckland during the past 16 years. They are to be sold by public auction on Tuesday, 20 inst., without reserve. The works are by eminent English, Italian and Scottish artists, and a few choice drawings of New Zealand scenery by Jas. Malcolm. —
