TAUPO ROAD BOARD.
ELECTION POLL RESULT. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAUPO. Thursday. The annual election of members of the Taupo Road Board resulted in Messrs. F. H. Gradwell, W. Anderson and S. R. Palmer being appointed to fill the vacancies. , At the first meeting of the board Mr. G. P. Eeid was elected chairman, and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the Rev. H. J. Fletcher, outgoing chairman, for his sen-ices, members stating thai it was solely duo to his efforts that a board had been set up.
