The Rome correspondent of" the,| Daily Mail states that Captain.Amundsen and his companions will fly ,in three seaplanes in June from Pisa to' Spitzbergen preliminary to their North Polar - flight. . '■ The seaplanes are constructed of a new' alloy' which :is not '■' affected by long immersion .in the sea and is able to with- : stand severe buffeting by the ! waves; ' The aviators will praatise for a month at] Spitsbergen, and then set out over the Pole for Alaska.''
