Mac- | donald, E. and D. Ranby, and Mesdames | V. Wood; M. Charters,' -C:* Monk, and [■ L. C. Moon. First aid : Misses M. Biggs, | A. Forrest, R. Hinton, and K. Keaney. The annual meeting of the Te? Aroha branch of- the ■ Royal' Plnnket Society was held on Wednesday.?: The president, Mrs. Ada Gordon, was .in the chair. ; The - annual report showed that ; the nurse had attended Te Aroha two days weekly. The attendance of babies at the rooms during the year was -1798, an increase of 512 over last ; year. ; The ? report! expressed the hope that the aim of the society to have a resident nurse at Te Aroha will soon be realised. .A credit balance of £57 j is now in hand. The officers for last vear : (with the addition of Mesdames A. F. ' Burton, F. A. ' Jennings, "and J. S. Thompson to the committee), were re- , elected. ( -. ' The Rev. E. Lush ;is acting as vicar at St. Mark's'rAnglican Church 'during the temporary absence of Rev. R, L. Conno'l y.
