; QUEEN STREET ACCIDENT. SKID AFTER ; STRIKING ZONE VERANDAH ALSO DAMAGED. • A startling accident occurred in Queen Street at about- 11 p.m; i: on- Saturday, when a,' motor-lorry struck the safety zone at the foot of Wyndham Street, Swerved on the greasy , road, mounted the pavement, and,? after bringing down a stout iron verandah post; ran into the side window of the shop of Messrs. J. and S. Hopkins, Ltd., florists , and nurserymen.
